Join multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Che Prasad and his band the Shark Alley Hobos for a performance of his critically acclaimed album Shiva Me Timbers. Written with his late brother, Mikie Lee Prasad, Shiva Me Timbers draws on influences ranging from sea shanties to American folk to North Indian Classical music. In a review of the album, Marin IJ music critic Paul Liberatore describes the opening song “Early Checkout” as having a “Mark Knopfler sound.” Liberatore also describes “echoes of Jerry Garcia's soulfully strained vocal style on ‘Afraid of the Sting,’ Tom Waits never growled harder than Prasad does on the story song ‘Take Me to Confession,’ and only a pathologist could authoritatively write a song like ‘The Italian Pathologist.’ " Come experience Shiva Me Timbers performed live for the first time in over a decade!
